LIVRE D'ARTISTE - ARTIST BOOK

Je suis honorée de faire partie de ce projet d’édition de livre en français, anglais et yiddish avec l’auteure et poétesse Chantal Ringuet et les maîtres-imprimeurs de l’Atelier-Galerie À.Piroir .

Je vous propose la lecture de l’entretien d’Agathe Piroir pour « Guild of Book Workers » et l’extrait dont Chantal Ringuet fait mention sur son site FB.

Encore une belle retombée en partie due à Banff Center for the Arts and Creativity. 

 

I am so fortunate to be part of this project of editing an artist's book in French, English and Yiddish with the author and poet Chantal Ringuet and the master-printers of the Atelier-Galerie A.Piroir.

As Chantal Ringuet does on her FB page, I suggest Agathe Piroir's conversation for "Guild of Book Workers".

Another nice repercussion partly due to Banff Center for the Arts and Creativity.

PENDANT QUE NOUS ÉTIONS CONFINÉS

Sur près d'un kilomètre de long, les gens ont construit des inukshuks sur les rives du lac ou j'habite. Une vraie exposition à ciel ouvert! Je m'en suis inspirée pour construire ces petits collages.

For almost one kilometre long, people where building inukshuks on the shores of the lake where I live. A real open-air exhibition! This inspired me these little collages.

RESIENCE D'ARTISTE CHEZ ZOCALO

J'ai obtenu une résidence de deux mois chez Zocalo centre d'artistes en art imprimé en 2019. Compte tenu de leur réorganisation, elle fut fixée au printemps 2020. Compte tenu du Coronavirus, elle est maintenant reportée au printemps 2021.

"Tout vient à temps à qui sait attendre"

In 2019, I earn a two month residency at Zocalo Centre d'Artistes en Art Impriné. Due to their reorganization, it was scheduled for spring 2020. Now, because of Coronavirus, it is postponed to spring 2021.

RÉSIDENCE D'EXPLORATION CHEZ ENGRAMME

Des lignes au chœur
Installation réalisée suite à ma résidence d'artistes de trois semaines chez Engramme, Québec. Ce centre est dédié à la production en estampe et à la diffusion en art actuel. Merci à toute l'équipe pour son accueil chaleureux et son support.

Lines  in a Choir
Installation created following my three weeks residency at Engramme, Quebec City. This center is dedicated to promoting original print works and fostering a return to this technique as a preferred discipline in the creation of visual arts. Thank you to the staff for there enthusiastic reception and there great support.
